Edinburgh Silhouettes
“This is a city of shifting light, of changing skies, of sudden vistas. A city so beautiful it breaks the heart again and again.” So said Alexander McCall Smith.
And we think he’s right!
Edinburgh’s skyline is never still. Light drifts over the crags, mist gathers in the closes, and every hour reshapes the city’s silhouette. This series of watercolours captures those shifting moments—soft mornings over Arthur’s Seat, the castle standing guard against a bruised evening sky, and the quiet glow of dusk settles on the Old Town.
Each piece holds a fragment of the city’s character: its history, its humour, and the quiet magic that lingers in its history.
